Long ago, when Oberon quarreled with Titania in the enchanted groves of Arden, a single moonlit tear fell upon the earth. From that tear sprang a colossal mushroom, its cap glowing with the warmth of faerie fire and its roots woven with spells of secrecy.
The Faerie Queen Tanaquil Glorianna claimed this as her woodland hall—a dwelling not of stone and mortar, but of living enchantment.

The Mushroom became the gateway to the Wyldewood itself: a place where faeries and goblins might gather, where satyrs pluck their pipes, and where mortal children are tempted into circles of song and dance.
Around it, a ring of luminous mushrooms—the Fairy Circle—guides wanderers into a world where twilight never ends and magic lingers upon every breeze.

Comic Con Installation Vision
The Mother Mushroom
A magnificent 20' x 20' x 14' amanita structure with natural LED texturing, rising majestically on a secured platform. This freestanding beacon will offer shade, seating, and an immersive portal into Shakespearean fantasy.
Constructed with aluminum frame architecture for lasting durability, wrapped in weather-resistant scuba fabric that captures and diffuses light like morning mist.
Weighed down in the base to be freestanding to allow Comic Con attendees to get under it and interact with the piece.
It will serve as the central thematic element to the entire 5th floor of the Seattle Convention Center Summit Building, It will be a central piece to the environment the convention is building called "The Tavern" which is a fantasy themed space filled with Dungeons & Dragons games, variety performers, LARPers, merchants, a bar, and of course fantasy nerds of all shapes and sizes - a mini Renasisance Faire in many ways. The Mother Mushroom will greet every guest immediately upon reaching the top floor before entering The Tavern - every guest at the convention will see it and have an opportunity to interact with it and learn it's lore.

The Shimmering Sporelings
Emerging from the Mother Mushroom's magical aura, a vibrant field of smaller, enchanting mushrooms extends the Wyldewood's allure in nature.
Crafted for Enchantment
These 'sporelings' range from 5 to 8 feet tall, each meticulously crafted from lightweight foam and fabric around intricate wire cores. Hidden LED strips infuse them with a soft, otherworldly glow.
An Immersive Landscape
Together, they form an immersive, illuminated landscape at night, inviting guests to wander deeper into the fantastical realm. Their shimmering presence draws visitors into the faerie world, creating an unforgettable visual experience around the grand Mother Mushroom.

Step into a realm of shaded tranquility beneath the Mother Mushroom’s expansive cap. Designed as a sanctuary from the summer heat, our integrated seating areas offer a much-needed respite for weary travelers.
Plush, comfortable benches and cushions invite attendees to pause, recharge, and immerse themselves deeper in the Wyldewood’s magic. It's not just a visual spectacle; it's a functional oasis where imagination and comfort intertwine.
